Dearly Beloved,
As I announced yesterday in church, our dear brother in Christ, Brian Greenwood, died yesterday morning. Arrangements for his funeral here at the church have yet to be made. Please keep Brian in your prayers for the repose of his soul, as well as his wife Carolyn as she deals with the loss of her husband. Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
I also announced yesterday that we have hired a curate for our parish. More information is below, as well as a bit of a surprise for you. Read on!
Blessings,
Fr. Erich

We have hired a Curate
At its monthly meeting this past Monday, April 13, the Vestry made provision for hiring a curate for our parish. For those of you new to our Anglican Way, a curate is an assistant minister who reports directly to the rector.
It is my profound pleasure to tell you that we have hired Fr. Steve Miller to be our curate. Many of you remember Fr. Steve from when he interned here at All Saints in 2019 before he was ordained a deacon in October of that year. He holds a B.A. in English, a Master in Education, and Master of Divinity. He is currently a teacher at Lindisfarne Hall, a classical school in our Diocese in Fernandina Beach, Florida, as well as being the curate at Holy Trinity Church, which operates Lindisfarne Hall. Fr. Steve is also an Army veteran.

Fr. Steve and his wife Jennifer have been married since 2012. They have two children, Abigail, age 11, and Joshua, age 8.
He will be with us here at All Saints the first weekend in May. He will meet with the Vestry on Saturday, May 2 and then join us on Sunday, May 3. He will preach that day and our Sunday School hour will be dedicated to getting to know him. His family will not be able to be here, as the children have school on Friday and Monday.
Be sure to be here on that Sunday to greet our new clergyman and welcome him into our parish family.
Surprise! A New Sign!

Many of you may not have noticed but we have new sign installed on our property along Hwy 191. It is a replacement for the original sign which was erected 30 years ago. There are still a few items that must be completed by our sign maker but below is the picture of our new, cleaner sign which will serve us well over the coming years.
