Dearly Beloved,
It is that time of year when our usual fall activities come back into focus, such as Sunday School, Bible studies, and Choir return. See the announcements below, as well as a letter from our seminarian Ethan Byrd and his wife Margaret.
We have one thing that feels like it overshadows everything else right now and that is the 25th anniversary of that terrible day of September 11, 2001. I believe it is appropriate and important that we remember that day here in the church.
We will begin our remembrance this coming Friday, September 11, 2026, with Morning Prayer at 8:30 a.m. and end with a Requiem Eucharist for the Fallen at 12:00 p.m. The schedule for that morning is directly below.
The intention is for all of us to have an opportunity remember that day in prayer, meditation, and reflection, while always focused on the Almighty God we rely on. We will rely on Holy Scripture and the Church’s liturgy to guide us in the presence of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Join us, however you may: for the whole day or whatever portion you may commit.

Choir practice returns tonight, September 9, at 6:45 p.m.
Parish Breakfast & Workday
This coming Saturday, September 12, we will host our annual Parish Workday to tidy up the grounds and building for the start of our fall activities. Breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m., and then we will get to work!
Sunday School Returns
Sunday School for all ages returns this coming Sunday, September 13. The adult class will continue with its discussion of the Depths of Anglicanism.
Wednesday Supper & Bible Study
Our Wednesday Supper & Bible Study return Wednesday, September 15. Supper begins at 6:30 p.m., directly after the Holy Communion. $5.00 is the suggested donation. Bible Study begins at 7:00 p.m. We will continue with Book of the Prophet Isaiah, starting at Chapter 40.
Friar’s Fall Fish Fry
It’s that time again! On Friday, October 2, we will hold our Friar’s Fish Fry. Packets are 10 tickets for $125.00. Please sign out a packet of tickets today! That is $12.50 per plate ($15.00 at the door) for breaded tilapia fillets, roasted potatoes, hush puppies, coleslaw, and iced tea or lemonade. Take-out and dine-in will be from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Kids under 12 eat free. Please buy and give away or sell tickets to make this a successful fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to introduce family and friends to our beloved parish.
A Letter from Ethan & Margaret
Hello from Wisconsin’s beautiful lake country! We are settling into our new home here and wanted to send along a few updates to our dear All Saints family!
On the 9th Sunday after Trinity (Aug. 2) we said goodbye to our dear friends at St. Barnabas in Georgia, where we had sojourned for the past few years. It was surreal to drive away from that place that had meant so much to our little family, where we made wonderful friends and welcomed Lottie Ruth to our family. We made it here to Wisconsin safely (all 13 hours!) with a stop overnight in our old Kentucky home (when in grad school). Our friend, Ms. Tina, hosted us! Her hospitality truly mirrored Christ to us. We enjoyed encouraging fellowship and her delicious food! We are deeply grateful for the time spent staying with her and visiting our old parish, St. Hubert’s.
We are making new friends here at Nashotah House, but our move has not been without its snags. The carpet caused us some allergy issues, but the seminary replaced it. Classes began Monday, August 31, and Ethan’s thoroughly enjoying them. (You’ll hear a lot more about those in our next update!)
He’s been staying rather busy with classes, choir, bell-ringer and dish-washing duties, and his new position as sacristan. This is a well-sought-after position on campus, and also the highest paying one. It will mean some extra work and time, but he will get to learn a great deal about cleaning the altar, vestments, and server training. (You might be proud to know that Ethan, and Lucas Mann are the two APA seminarians on campus, and both of them are sacristans. Go APA!)
We are incredibly grateful for all the help you have provided so far. It’s a sentiment we will no doubt repeat often: we cannot thank you enough for your prayers, encouragement, and support!
