Funeral for Chuck Batherson
The funeral for Chuck will be held this coming Saturday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. Chuck and his wife Anne have been members of All Saints since 2020 and also have been long-time members of our diocese. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
Weather Considerations
As most of you are likely aware, we have the potential for a major winter storm hitting our region this coming Saturday and Sunday. The main difficulty with this is that it would affect our arrangements for Chuck Batherson’s funeral, as well as our worship and classes for Sunday. It is too early to know, with any certainty, about what the weather will actually do this weekend. We will continue to monitor this situation and believe we may be able to make any decisions on Thursday. Any changes in schedule or cancellations will be emailed to you, as well as posted on our website (allsaintsmillsriver.org) and the church telephone answering service (828-891-7216).
Reception/Food for Batherson family
If you are willing to help with the Batherson reception on Saturday (food, set-up, clean-up) or provide food for the family in the coming week, please contact Allison Sewrey (828-606-9965) or Dss. Cynthia at the church office.
Fellowship Ministry Team
Allison Sewrey has volunteered to lead the All Saints Fellowship Ministry Team. This ministry will coordinate fellowship opportunities for our parish throughout the year. Please see Allison to join this ministry.
Nursery Workers Needed!
There is a sign up sheet in the entryway for January and February. Volunteers play an essential role in this ministry. Please consider assisting Rebekah Byrd in the nursery one Sunday each month.
Hendersonville Rescue Mission
A 2026 sign up sheet for volunteering at the Rescue Mission has been posted in the parish hall. Please see Tom Clyde if you would like more information on volunteering.
