Christ is Risen! Alleluia! The Lord is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!

Dearly Beloved,

By the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we participate in the life of God right now! The radical meaning of Christ’s Resurrection is that the life of God lives in us. We arise to walk in the ways which he has prepared for us to walk in: the ways of service and sacrifice, the ways of prayer and praise, the ways of joy and gladness. The Resurrection places our lives in the love of the Son for the Father in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. In short, the Resurrection allows us to participate in the Life of Love, both now and ever hereafter! Happy Easter!

This week will be rather quiet around our parish. Please take note of the few brief announcements below.

Blessings,

Fr. Erich

Let us pray for the help and mercy of God in this time of war

O ALMIGHTY Lord, who art a most strong tower to all them that put their trust in thee: Be now and evermore our defense; grant us victory, if it be thy will; look in pity upon the wounded and the prisoners; cheer the anxious; comfort the bereaved; succor the dying; have mercy on the fallen; and hasten the time when war shall cease in all the world; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LORD God of Hosts, stretch forth, we pray thee, thine almighty arm to strengthen and protect the soldiers, sailors, and airmen of our country; Support them in the day of battle, and in the time of peace keep them safe from all evil; endue them with courage and loyalty; and grant that in all things they may serve without reproach; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
