Dearly Beloved,
As I mentioned at announcement time in church yesterday, congratulations and thank you to all of you for your generosity shown to the expectant mothers at Open Arms Pregnancy Center. It is because of you that we are able to provide 24 new car seats. This is such a blessing to the work of Open Arms and certainly to the new mothers bringing their children into the world. This is undoubtedly us living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this world.
Also, our parish fun coordinator, Allison, has something in mind for us between the services on this coming weekend on Pentecost. So read on below. See you all in church!

Pentecost Party/Holy Spirit Hangout/Tongues of Fire Breakfast
As you can tell, we could not quite figure out how to announce this event! So anyway…
We will serve breakfast food and fellowship during the Sunday School hour this coming Sunday. Wear RED for Pentecost and/or RED, WHITE, and BLUE for Memorial Day. Adult Class will still happen but we will just party around it and enjoy our time together in the parish hall. Remember, Pentecost not only was the day the Holy Spirit descended upon on the Apostles but it was also the birthday of the Church! So there is another reason for our gathering together to celebrate! See you Sunday!
A Bible Study on Handel’s Messiah
Our Wednesday evening Bible Study, inspired by our study of the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, will continue as we look at the Scripture passages used in Handel’s work that highlight who Jesus is and what he came to do. Of course, because this is focused on the text of The Messiah, we will definitely be listening to some music too!
Come join us for this study which will last 3 or 4 more weeks before we take our summer break. This would be a great time for you to join us for just a few weeks at our Wednesday study. We will return to Isaiah’s book (Chapters 40-66) after the summer.
Tuesday Bible Study
The Tuesday morning Bible Study continues looking at the Epistles of St. John. Please read First John, Chapter 3 for class this week.
Vacation Bible School
Our 2026 Vacation Bible School will be Monday, June 29—Thursday, July 2. Hours will be 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. daily. Volunteers are needed to make this a memorable time for the children that will attend. If you are able to volunteer at any time during those four days, please see Allison Sewrey or Dss. Cynthia. We will have a meeting for volunteers in the coming weeks, date to be announced.
