Our celebration of he Holy Common in this the Fourth Sunday in Lent, also known as Rose Sunday. St. Paul in today’s Epistle writes, “Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all” (Gal. 4:26) The sermon uses this verse as its starting point.
