“O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” These are Jesus’ words to the Canaanite woman heard in the Gospel lesson for today. His words acknowledge how her humility gained her access to our Lord. Fr. Erich reflects on how we too might gain “humble access” to our Savior in his sermon during our celebration of the Holy Communion.
