Tuesday Bible Study
The Tuesday morning Bible Study will finish its study of St. John’s First Epistle this week, June 9 at 11:00 a.m.
Start the Birthday Party
Celebrating our country’s 250th birthday can’t just happen in one day! Flag Day falls on this coming Sunday, June 14. After our 11:00 a.m. celebration of the Holy Communion, we will have an All-American lunch, including a make-your-own brownie sundae bar! Mark you calendar now to stick around that day. I think its a great way to kick-start summer!
Vacation Bible School
Our 2026 Vacation Bible School will be Monday, June 29—Thursday, July 2, 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. If you are able to volunteer at any time during those four days, please see Allison Sewrey or Dss. Cynthia. We will have a meeting for volunteers in the coming weeks, date to be announced.
Independence Day Cookout
To celebrate 250 years of our nation’s Independence, our parish will gather for a cookout on the evening of Friday, July 3, at the Blackburn’s farm in Fletcher. More information will be forthcoming.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Our annual men’s outing to watch our Asheville Tourists will be on Tuesday, July 28, 6:30 p.m. The Tourists will be playing our local “enemies,” the Greenville Drive! Please sign up in the entryway to the church. We are in process of working out group tickets, so we are not sure of the exact cost. Tickets are usually approx. $10.00.

The Storehouse in Henderson County is this month’s recipient of our in-gathering of food stuffs.
