Our celebration of the Holy Communion on the First Sunday after Trinity. Today’s Epistle from I John, Chapter 4, contains the famous words “God is love.” While a theological understanding of these words is important for the Christian, it is equally important, if not more so, that we consider the implications of the words for our manner of life in this world.
