Dearly Beloved,
Many thanks to all of you for joining us on Saturday for Brian Greenwood’s funeral. With all of us joining Brian’s family and friends, we filled up the church. What a blessing! And thanks to Allison Sewrey for coordinating the reception and to all of you who assisted her in that endeavor. Carolyn and the family were most grateful.
We were also blessed this weekend to have Fr. Steve Miller with us, allowing us to come to know him better. He and his family are preparing to join us as part of our parish family this coming July. I look forward to having him here as vital part of the ministry of our beloved parish. If you were not able to be here yesterday, you can catch Fr. Steve’s sermon on our website by clicking here on this link.
We have a special event coming this Sunday on Mothers’ Day. Read the details below. I will see you in church!
Blessings,
Fr. Erich

Mothers’ Day Brunch & Car Seat Drive
All Saints Church is partnering with Open Arms Pregnancy Center for Mother’s Day. Open Arms is one of our monthly community outreach recipients. To further support this ministry here in Henderson County, we are asking for Walmart or Sam’s gift cards to help provide a car seat to each new client. The car seats they use are $100.00 each, however, any monetary donation will help. This drive ends at our parish Mothers’ Day Brunch this coming Sunday, May 10, at 9:45 a.m. Please bring any gift cards you have purchased that morning. Any donation amount is gladly accepted and you may also write a check for any amount you wish. Please make your checks payable to All Saints and either drop them in the plate on Sunday, marked “Open Arms” or “Car Seats,” or drop them in the basket at the brunch. For more information about Open Arms, visit openarms329.com.
Bible Study and Tacos!
The Tuesday Bible study group will celebrate Cinco de Mayo this coming Tuesday with a catered taco bar. Lunch is $10.00 per person. Please RSVP with Dss. Cynthia. Since we will be eating, the class will meet in the parish hall.
Remember Those In Need
Bread of Life in Transylvania County is this month’s recipient of our monthly in-gathering of foodstuffs.
