Advent Lessons & Carols

Advent Lessons and Carols last night was a huge success. Many thanks to David and the Choir for the outstanding work they did in providing for us a beautiful and meaningful service, as we reflected on God’s promises and gifts to us in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The St. Nicholas Party afterward was a fabulous way to spend some time in fellowship with one another, as a people blessed by the Great and Mighty Wonder that God has bestowed on us. Thanks to Allison for setting up the parish hall in a most festive way, as well as thanks to Dss. Cynthia and Amber for providing the food for the evening!

Angel Tree Gifts

Angel Tree gifts will be sorted tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 9:30 a.m. Come on out and help Dss. Cynthia get it all squared away.

Death & Judgment

The adult Sunday school class is dealing with two important topics: death and judgment. We focused on death yesterday. Next Sunday, December 14, we begin the topic of Judgment. Come join us for this important topic as we come to understand what awaits us in the future.

Advent Devotional

Every year, our Appalachian Deanery of churches publishes a series of devotionals for every day in the Advent season to help us prepare for the Coming of our Savior in His first Advent at Bethlehem, as well as his Coming as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Second Advent on the Day of the Lord.

Following are the links are the links for the devotionals appointed for each day of this week.

You may download the entire devotional at this link.
