Annual Meeting & Thanksgiving Dinner

Our Annual Parish Meeting & Parish Thanksgiving Dinner will be held this coming Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 12:15 p.m. The meeting will begin directly after the 11:00 a.m. Holy Communion. The meeting lasts less than an hour. The Thanksgiving Dinner follows immediately after the meeting. We rely on you to bring the sides for our dinner (We provide the turkey & ham!) If you haven’t signed up for your “side” dishes, give Dss. Cynthia a call in the office (828.891.7216) and let her know what you are bringing. Be sure to make every attempt to be here that day as we listen to reports of the past year, ratify a budget for the upcoming year, and elect members to the three open vestry seats. And then we feast!

Angel Tree Giving Season

All Saints Church is excited and honored to support 13 children in need this Christmas, in partnership with The Storehouse Ministry and Henderson County Schools.

How to Participate:

•             Select a tag (or more) from the Angel Tree in the church.

•             Purchase the item(s) listed on your tag.

•             Please bring all gifts to the church by Sunday, December 7.

Important: Do not wrap the gifts!

If you prefer to make a donation instead of shopping, simply place your contribution in the offering plate on Sunday, November 23, and please remember to write “Angel Tree” in the memo line. Our ladies will gladly purchase gifts on your behalf. Please see Dss. Cynthia if you have any further questions and/or are willing to come out and help sort gifts on Monday, December 8, from 9 – 11 a.m.

Shakespeare in the House!

The Blue Ridge Bards are proud to present Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Performances began this past week and are scheduled through this Saturday, November 22. Seats are still available for Tuesday, November 18 @ 7pm, and Saturday, November 22 @ 3pm. You can sign up for your seat to a performance by clicking here. You will choose the date and time for your preferred performance. Once you get to that particular performance’s page, scroll to the bottom and click on Sign Up Now to get your seats. A small donation is requested to help defray costs. We hope you can come out and enjoy the play! Run time will be less than 2 hours, which includes a fifteen minute intermission.

Of Your Mercy

A long-time member here, Florence Henderson, can no longer drive and wishes to be able to come to church once or twice a month. Would you be willing to assist her so she can worship with us and join us in fellowship once again? Perhaps you and someone else can be a team? There are so many possibilities here to help out another member of the parish.

Florence lives at Carolina Village in Hendersonville. Please contact Dss. Cynthia if you can take on this worthy ministry.

Advent Lessons & Carols

The All Saints Choir will proudly present its annual Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 7, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This special service was started in 1918 at King’s College Chapel in Cambridge England, and it is a re-

telling of the story of our redemption—from prophecy to fulfillment—through Holy Scripture and music. Please come out to support our All Saints Choir that night and bring a friend!

And as is always the case, immediately following Lessons & Carols, we hold our annual St. Nicholas Party. We have it on good authority that jolly old St. Nick will make a stop here on that Sunday, as he does every year to fill up those shoes with all sorts of goodies!
