Our celebration of the Holy Communion, on this night in which our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ instituted the Sacrament of His Body and Blood. The sermon this evening focused on the sacrifice of the death of Christ. The evening ended with the Solemn Procession of the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar of Repose and the Stripping of the Altar, which shows us, in a figure, our Lord Jesus Christ being stripped of his earthly ministry, his family, and friends, and his own most precious life.
