Today we commemorate and celebrate Palm Sunday. We began with the Blessings of Palms and then continued with the Festal Procession of Palms in remembrance of our Lord’s Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. We concluded the morning with the celebration of the Holy Communion, during which the congregation participated in the reading of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Matthew. The sermon focused on the words “His blood be on us, and on our children” in that reading of Christ’s Passion.
