On Sunday, December 1, we held our annual Advent Lessons and Carols. Many thanks to our choirmaster Brian Weber and all of our choir members for presenting us with such a powerful and worshipful experience as we prepare for the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. We were please to have the young people of Classical Scholars and Great Expectations, the middle and high schools which meet here at the church, participating in the reading of lessons and the singing of hymns.
As is our custom, immediately afterwards, we have a party in honor of St. Nicholas. The children drop there shoes off by the church’s organ, in hopes that St. Nicholas would fill them with goodies. And, of course, he did as he arrived to join us in our celebration. Its always a blessing to have Jolly Ole St. Nick with us at his busiest time of year!
